Kids (Ages 0-10)

See your children grow in the knowledge and love of God.

We're thrilled to welcome your little ones to Renovation Church!

Our team is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment where your child can feel right at home. We take great care in preparing our nursery rooms with toys that are just right for their age and interests, while making sure everything is squeaky-clean between services.

Our staff is always happy to offer personal attention and care to your child, so you can have peace of mind as you attend services knowing they're in good hands.

Nursery

Ages: 3 months – 2 years old

Renovation-Church-Atlanta, GA - Kids Nursery

We understand that babies have specific needs and schedules. When you bring your child to the nursery, we will do our best to meet their needs. We provide diapers and a snack for each child, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Additionally, we take time to love and pray for your child each week. Our desire is for your little one to grow in the knowledge and love of God by experiencing Him in a safe, bright, and loving environment

Toddlers

Ages: 2 – 3 years old

Renovation-Church-Atlanta, GA - Kids Toddlers

Two-year-olds are tricky! For this age group, we create plenty of space for fun while sharing a simple story and praying together each week. We provide diapers and a simple selection of age-appropriate snacks for each child, but you are welcome to bring your own.

The room is designed for children in a wide range of developmental phases. At this stage, our desire is for your little one to grow in the knowledge and love of God by discovering that "God made me, He loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Pre-K

Ages: 3 – 5 years old

Renovation-Church-Atlanta, GA - Kids Pre-K

For our Pre-K kids, we structure our time to maximize learning and fun. We take a bit more time to teach the week's story and sing and pray together.

We also provide age-appropriate snacks for each child. In Pre-K, our desire is for each child to grow in the knowledge and love of God by discovering that "Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation – and the center of my story, too.

Elementary

Ages: 5 – 10 years old

Renovation-Church-Atlanta, GA - Kids Elementary

In the Elementary room, we structure our time for robust learning and relationship building. The children enjoy a lesson and also break into smaller groups to discuss.

They have the opportunity to participate in worship together in the sanctuary. We provide snacks for each child, and the room is stocked with fun toys and activities.

In Elementary, we desire for each child to grow in the knowledge and love of God by learning how to make wiser choices, build stronger relationships, and develop a deeper faith.

HAVE QUESTIONS? · WE'VE GOT ANSWERS! ·

  • To check in, a "child sticker" and corresponding "parent check" with the child's name and barcode will be printed.

During dismissal, a parent or guardian will provide the corresponding "child check" to our workers in the room. If this is your first time, we will also ask for your phone number and email so we can contact you if needed.

You may also check in with us as well! Check-in for the 10am service opens at 9:40am and closes at 10:20am. For the 11:30am service, check-in begins at 11:05am and closes at noon.

  • Relationship is important! Our team members work in the same rooms each time they are scheduled, so your children get to spend time with the same small group of teachers each week.

There are at least two workers in the room at all times, regardless of the number of children present, and all of our team members complete background checks before joining.

Our room caps are determined by established room size and worker-to-child ratios to maintain a consistent, joyful, and safe environment each week.

We use the “Orange Curriculum,” formatted in a monthly series of self-contained lessons. This means no matter when your child joins, they won’t feel lost.

Our online lessons are coordinated with the in-room content each week and can be watched anytime. We like to use them as a midweek review, regardless of in-person attendance.

  • For younger children, you may bring a diaper bag with diapers, preferred snacks, and a change of clothes if you wish. We also have stocked diapers of all sizes and provide a few snack options.

There is a small gated playground located immediately outside for the Pre-K and Toddler rooms to use, so please keep that in mind when dressing them. We keep the Nursery kids in the room. Older children don’t need to bring anything! We provide a snack and water each week.

If you choose to send a snack, please note that no nuts are allowed. If your child has any allergies, let our check-in worker know, and we’ll have it notated in the database.
